1. Agreement to Terms

Binding estimates remain subject to the terms listed in the written agreement issued at booking.


4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Ensure legal parking and access at pickup and delivery locations
  • Secure fragile or valuable items as instructed
  • Disclose items requiring special handling

Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays, additional charges, or service limitations.


5. Prohibited Items

For safety and regulatory reasons, the following items may not be transported:

  • Flammable substances
  • Perishable goods
  • Illegal items
  • Live animals or plants (unless pre-approved)

The company reserves the right to refuse shipment of any item deemed unsafe or non-compliant.


6. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. Deposits, balances, and accepted payment methods will be outlined in your booking documents. Failure to comply with payment terms may delay or suspend services.


7. Delivery Windows

Delivery timeframes for long-distance moves are based on mileage, route scheduling, load size, and federal transportation regulations. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing.


8. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Customers may cancel or reschedule a move by providing advance notice according to the terms listed in their booking agreement. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through official company communication channels.

Deposits may be refundable or non-refundable depending on timing, scheduling commitments, and operational costs already incurred. Late cancellations or same-day rescheduling may result in fees.

AMB Moving & Storage Inc. reserves the right to reschedule moves due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather, safety concerns, mechanical issues, government restrictions, or force majeure events.


9. Storage Terms (If Applicable)

If storage services are requested or required, the following conditions apply:

  • Storage rates are outlined in the customer’s agreement.
  • Storage charges accrue daily or monthly depending on service type.
  • Access to stored goods may require advance scheduling.
  • Items placed into storage remain subject to the valuation coverage selected.

Failure to pay storage fees may result in service suspension or additional administrative action permitted by law.


10. Bill of Lading Terms

The Bill of Lading issued at pickup is the official transportation contract between the customer and AMB Moving & Storage Inc. It contains final shipment details including:

  • Inventory
  • Valuation selection
  • Pickup and delivery locations
  • Charges
  • Delivery window

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming accuracy before signing. Signing the Bill of Lading acknowledges acceptance of shipment terms and authorizes transportation of listed items.


11. Claims & Damage Policy

If loss or damage occurs during transport, customers must follow the official claims process:

  • Claims must be submitted in writing within the timeframe specified in the shipment contract.
  • Claims must include documentation such as photos, inventory references, and description of damage.
  • Settlement is determined according to the valuation coverage selected prior to shipment.

Failure to follow claim submission procedures may delay or void eligibility for compensation.


12. Service Refusal Rights

AMB Moving & Storage Inc. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • Safety risks are present
  • Prohibited items are discovered
  • Payment terms are not met
  • Information provided by the customer is inaccurate
  • Conditions violate federal or state transportation regulations

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather
  • Natural disasters
  • Traffic closures
  • Government orders
  • Labor disruptions
  • Mechanical failure

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with the customer’s estimate, order for service, and Bill of Lading, constitute the full agreement between the customer and AMB Moving & Storage Inc. No verbal statements or prior communications modify these terms unless confirmed in writing.


15. Liability & Valuation Coverage

All shipments are subject to valuation coverage options selected at booking. Coverage levels, limitations, and claim procedures are governed by federal moving regulations and the valuation option chosen by the customer.


16. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems
  • Copy or reproduce website content without permission
  • Interfere with site functionality or security

We reserve the right to restrict access if misuse is detected.


17. Intellectual Property
